Risk Manager

Fort Lauderdale, FL

The Risk Manager will be responsible for managing the workers’ compensation insurance programs of the organization. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer this role is responsible for managing and minimizing the potential risks to the Company through active involvement in the Company’s workers’ compensation programs. This position will partner with various internal departments, insurance brokers, attorneys and third-party administrators to support and facilitate workers’ compensation insurance policies and programs. The candidate must be an excellent communicator with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and get involved to drive results effectively.

Benefits Specialist

Interfaces with AlphaStaff clients and employees and other customers on benefit plan related questions and resolves issues in a timely, professional manner.  Directly supports the general business operations of the company.

Unemployment Claims Specialist

Fort Lauderdale, FL

This is an entry level position supporting Unemployment Claims Management.  The primary function of the Unemployment Claims Specialist is the timely, efficient processing of unemployment’s claims from receipt to completion and working closely with senior level Unemployment Claims Consultant.

Benefits HRIS Specialist

Fort Lauderdale, FL

Interfaces with AlphaStaff clients, employees, and vendors to set up, audit and service for new AlphaStaff accounts during the first 30-60 days of the on-boarding process for new clients. The Benefits HRIS Specialist will provide Raving Fan Service and will be responsible for the accurate set up of benefits with the goal of achieving a seamless on-boarding experience.

Business Development Manager

South Florida, Orlando, NorthEast US

The Business Development Manager will leverage existing relationships with strategic partners who serve as referral sources. These include insurance brokers, agencies, banking and venture capital firms. We have partners in the Tampa markets who have endorsed AlphaStaff and we are currently in need of someone to harvest these fruitful relationships. Educating these partners as to AlphaStaff’s value proposition, forging strong relationships and earning the partner's trust will lead to numerous client introductions and hot leads.

Payroll Specialist

Fort Lauderdale & Atlanta Area

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll for a variety of client companies across multiple states and pay frequencies, ensuring quality thresholds are maintained for all payroll transactions and customer service levels are in line with organizational expectations.

Sr. Staff Accountant

Fort Lauderdale, FL

The Sr. Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the Accounting department in preparing balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger and financial statements as well as facilitating other key processes within the department. This position requires supervisory skills, critical and analytical thinking, the ability to work independently, strong detail orientation, excellent organizational skills, and the willingness to learn and grow within the organization. The ideal Sr. Staff Accountant will enjoy applying their technical knowledge, will take ownership of their area and consistently look for ways to improve processes and operations.

Customer Service Specialist

Fort Lauderdale, FL

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support throughout all areas of the business for client inquiries. This role is mainly responsible for incoming requests but will require, at times, outbound communication in the resolutions process. The hours of this role are from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. EST to support our California clients.
