Meet the Team
President and CEO
Cristina Allan initially joined AlphaStaff in 2004 as part of AlphaStaff’s MGA division. During her tenure she held various management and leadership roles, including President & CEO from 2013 to 2015. In 2017, Cristina once again took on the title of President & CEO and is currently responsible for AlphaStaff’s overall business strategy and operations.
Cristina has over 17 years of brokerage experience as well as significant experience in account management, employee benefits sales and operations, and general management. She previously served as vice president, Global Relationship Management – Broker & Consultant Strategy at MetLife. In this role, she was responsible for identifying key opportunities to partner with brokerage and consulting firms with the goal of increasing alignment and developing common growth strategies at a global level in over 40 countries, while also implementing them successfully at a regional and local level.
Before transitioning to the employee benefit industry, Cristina started her career in hospitality. While in the hospitality industry, she held management roles with Don Shula’s Hotel and Country Club. She also was part of Shula’s Steak Houses, Inc., a start up with focus on licensing restaurant concepts.
Cristina received her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Florida International University and has her license in Life, Health, and Variable Annuities. She is based in Florida and is a proud mother of two daughters.
David Rattner, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer, joined AlphaStaff in November 2017. As a key member of the Executive Management team, David reports to the Chief Executive Officer and assumes a strategic role in the overall management of the company. He has day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial and operational related activities of the company. This includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, IT, payroll operations, and strategic planning.
He brings over 20 years of significant public company and operational expertise in the consumer products industry having served as Vice President of Finance for Elizabeth Arden, Inc., where he held a variety of leadership positions, and as Chief Financial Officer at Perry Ellis International.
David is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Associate General Counsel
Sharee Eriks, Associate General Counsel, joined AlphaStaff in January 2018 after spending seven years in private practice, focusing on labor and employment litigation and counseling. Ms. Eriks is a member of the Executive Management team and supports the entire company with contractual, operational and compliance-related legal needs. Ms. Eriks manages all litigated matters, handles vendor and PEO contracts, and ensures AlphaStaff maintains compliance with ESAC, federal and state regulations. She also leverages her extensive knowledge and experience with employee relations issues to partner with AlphaStaff’s HR professionals in evaluating and delivering comprehensive solutions to clients.
Ms. Eriks is a Seattle, Washington native, received her B.A. from the University of Washington, and obtained her law degree from Boston University School of Law.
Head of Client Service
Marlene Gore is Head of Client Services for AlphaStaff. Marlene has over 20 years of Human Resources experience, 13 of which have been in a leadership role in the PEO industry. Marlene is a Human Resources Generalist with a strong knowledge in employee relations, leadership and employee development, training, recruitment, compensation, benefits, compliance, risk mitigation, EEOC/OSHA, and workers’ compensation. She has provided Human Resources services to manufacturing, financial, hospitality, medical, non-profit and technology businesses ranging in size from small to large corporations.
Marlene's role as a Director with AlphaStaff includes managing a group of HR consultants both field and corporate based to successfully set and implement departmental goals and practices to be in alignment with the business goals and objective for each consultant's clients unique needs. She has been instrumental providing strategic consultations and has established a trusted advisory relationship with a wide variety of clients by saving them time, money and potential litigation.
As a result of this trust, Marlene was able to assist an not only small clients but an entire enterprise through many organizational, compensation and employment changes by successfully identifying and implementing the right HR services at the appropriate times. Marlene is astute in identifying areas in need of improvement with the vision to develop and implement successful action plans.
Marlene is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a member of both the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) a national organization, and in support of her local community a member of the Sarasota Manatee Human Resources Association.
Employee Benefits Operations & Head of Agency Management
Kim Lowe, Employee Benefits Operations & Head of Agency Management, first joined AlphaStaff in 2013 and again in December 2014. In this role, Ms. Lowe oversees the health benefits agency AlphaStaff MGA. Ms. Lowe has over 20 years experience in benefits on both the carrier and consulting side of the industry. Ms. Lowe is known as a strategic thinker who can find her way around a problem while implementing thoughtful out-of-the-box solutions for both her organization and her clients. Prior to joining AlphaStaff, Kim was an AVP/Practice Account Manager at Aon Hewitt, worked with Cigna and John Alden Life, and was the owner of her own benefits consulting firm.
Ms. Lowe attended Florida International University with a focus in psychology. She is also a licensed life and health producer and a continuing education educator in the health and welfare industry.
Head of Risk Management
Annette Ginsbourger, Head of Risk Management, joined AlphaStaff in 2000 and again in 2013. Ms. Ginsbourger has held many roles within the organization, beginning with HR account executive, claims examiner and loss control specialist, to name a few. In her current role, she oversees AlphaStaff’s Risk Management in order to provide the best experience to AlphaStaff’s clients. Prior to, and in between AlphaStaff positions, Ms. Ginsbourger worked at other PEOs and has career experience on both the carrier and agency sides. She has received the Minet Scholarship, a Professional Safety Certification in 1997, and the Safety Achievement Award from General Accident Insurance (1997-1998). She is also a member of South Florida’s National Safety Council.
Ms. Ginsbourger attended Broward Community College and Gold Coast Insurance to obtain her Life and Health (218) and Workers’ Compensation Adjuster (624) licenses. She continues her insurance license education requirements though the WCCP and WCI. She is also a member of the Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS) Broward County chapter.
Corporate HR Director
Olga Tua, Corporate HR Director, joined AlphaStaff in July 2014 as an HR Manager. Through her tenure in the company she has served in various roles including Account Executive and Director of Market Development. In her current role, Ms. Tua leads AlphaStaff's Corporate Human Resources initiatives and serves as a member of the Executive Team supporting organizational enterprises.
Prior to joining AlphaStaff, Olga served as Regional Human Resources Manager in a multi-national rental car organization and managed a Tri-County Region with a national tax preparation organization responsible for all operations for over 32 locations. She has served as a member of the Advisory Board for Miami Dade College and is the author of multiple articles published in industry magazines.
Olga earned a bachelor's in Communications and a master's in HR & Business Management. She is a certified Human Resources Professional having obtained her SHRM-CP and PHR and has her license in Life, Health, and Variable Annuities. Olga is also an adjunct professor at the Ana G. Mendez University in Miramar facilitating bi-lingual classes in Human Resources Management for both undergraduate and graduate students.
Claudia Vargas, Corporate Controller, joined AlphaStaff in September 2016. In this role, Ms. Vargas assists the VP of Finance and Planning with high-level accounting and finance activities. Ms. Vargas has an extensive accounting background with over 10 years of experience in Big 4 and Fortune 500/Global corporations. Prior to joining AlphaStaff, she managed the consolidation and reporting department for a major international manufacturing company. Ms. Vargas’ experience also includes external financial reporting for a public Fortune 500 franchise company located in South Florida. Ms. Vargas’ career focus has been improving Accounting processes and gaining efficiencies, while also maintaining key entity level and application controls.
Ms. Vargas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and International Business from The Fox School of Business at Temple University.
