AlphaStaff update: HR Webinar Coronavirus Q & A Part II
Apr 24, 2020
COVID-19 is drastically changing how employers are operating for the foreseeable future. We remain committed to providing you with tools designed to deliver much needed guidance to navigate these novel employment-related issues.
For many businesses, keeping their doors open poses unique challenges, including administering the new paid leaves under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, understanding the expansion of unemployment benefits under federal law, and analyzing the various CARES Act relief programs to help your business survive this crisis.
AlphaStaff is pleased to continue the conversation with our partners at the law firm Baker Donelson on how employers can put it all together in this new business landscape. We will spend a couple of hours going through FAQs on administering the new paid leave programs, discussing the expansion of unemployment at the federal level, and reviewing the loans and tax relief under the CARES Act.
